Today Dell has announced their Dell Cloud Partner Program. This announce contained a small part which makes many of my colleagues (and of course myself) really happy. This may sound like a small thing, but Dell is announcing today that they'll be offering hardware (PowerEdge C) ready to install Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud on it.

We've been working on this for a bit, and the offer won't be available immediately, as we need to finalize Lucid Lynx and tune it on this hardware first, but it is coming :) So stay tuned, I'll make sure I'll post updates on this. Thanks to everyone from Dell, Eucalyptus and Canonical whom are working on this to make it possible, and let's hope this is just a start to a long and successful partnership with Dell on Ubuntu Server Edition.
